Bruno is a joy to work with! He has an exceptional ability to communicate effectively with all our players. Bruno gives the clearest downbeats I’ve known with consistency of direction for every change in tempo and style, giving me confidence to lead my section.

Bruno charms audiences. He chooses a delightful range of repertoire, challenging and rewarding to play – and creating engaging concerts.

I leave every rehearsal with a spring in my step!

Northwood String Orchestra

Over the many years that I have been playing, there have been a few conductors whom I have particularly admired, for one reason or another. Bruno is certainly one of these.

His passion for both the music and the performance, (not necessarily the same thing), is inspiring, but he doesn’t allow his enthusiasm to prevent him from conducting with clarity and authority.

I feel also that he made each rehearsal a shared challenge and a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Langtree Symphonia

I’ve known Bruno for more than a decade, first as a young and very capable violinist and more recently as a conductor. He worked with the strings of Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra to very good effect, during the ‘lockdown years’, including working with an excellent international soloist.

Bruno has a very encouraging rehearsal manner and draws the best out of his players. He knows what he wants to achieve and has the knowledge and technical ability to realise his aims.

Personality counts for a great deal, when working with people of mixed ability and the players certainly strive to give of their best.
