Over the many years that I have been playing, there have been a few conductors whom I have particularly admired, for one reason or another. Bruno is certainly one of these.
His passion for both the music and the performance, (not necessarily the same thing), is inspiring, but he doesn’t allow his enthusiasm to prevent him from conducting with clarity and authority.
I feel also that he made each rehearsal a shared challenge and a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I’ve known Bruno for more than a decade, first as a young and very capable violinist and more recently as a conductor. He worked with the strings of Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra to very good effect, during the ‘lockdown years’, including
